  1. Students will begin planting on May 22 and 23, weather pending. There are a lot of rocks that still need to be removed. When you have time, please go to the garden and remove rocks. They need to be placed near, but not over the fence. The garden is located at the back of the school. Go to the east side of the parking lot (in front of the school) and follow the fence to the back. You will find our garden and a pile of rocks. Your help is greatly appreciated!

  3. Excellent Nicole!!! We have an amazing staff at HME and incredible families and community members that are working together to make this dream become a reality! Pictures will be uploaded soon to share the composter our PTO purchased in the fall as well as photos of students planting seeds and measuring the perimeter of the garden. I can't wait until we start planting in a few weeks. Go HME!!!!

  4. We are planning on working on the Food Forest this Sunday starting at 9:00 am.
We are planning on putting in the irrigation system, weed barrier and possibly the deer fencing.
If you can make it, that would be awesome!

The weather is not looking so good for planting next week. It is the 7 day forecast so lots of time for the weather to change.

    Have a great Friday!!!
